He was to follow one of the greatest prophets and leaders of the Bible – a man who had seen God face to face. The Lord calls a young Joshua to follow Moses as leader of his people. In Deuteronomy 31 through the first few chapters of the book of Joshua, we see the succession of Moses and Joshua in leading the people of Israel into the promise land.
